Terms of Service
Last Updated: 18.03.2026
Welcome to Ecommerce GodFather. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Ecommerce GodFather SaaS platform, API, and the accompanying WooCommerce WordPress plugin (collectively, the “Service”). By installing the plugin or accessing our API, you (“Merchant”, “You”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of Service
Ecommerce GodFather provides a cloud-based infrastructure that enables WooCommerce merchants to generate, synchronize, and manage Mini App stores within messaging platforms, including Telegram and Max. The Service consists of a locally installed WordPress plugin and a remote cloud backend that processes webhooks, manages CRM profiles, and routes API requests.
2. Account Registration and API Tokens
To use the Service, you must register an account and generate an API token. You are strictly responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API tokens and bot credentials. Ecommerce GodFather is not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to your store or messaging bots due to compromised credentials.
3. Subscription, Billing, and Grace Period
- Payments: Access to the cloud infrastructure requires an active subscription.
- Service Degradation (Grace Period): If a billing cycle is missed or an API token is revoked, our backend will return a failure status (
success: false). The WordPress plugin is designed to gracefully degrade. We provide a 30-hour grace period (up to 5 failed consecutive validation checks). If the issue is not resolved within this period, the connection status will change todisconnected, and synchronization with the Mini App will be paused. We do not delete your API keys during this process, allowing for easy reconnection once the account is in good standing.
4. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Sell or promote illegal goods, regulated substances, weapons, or services prohibited by the laws of your jurisdiction or the policies of the connected messaging platforms (Telegram, Max).
- Transmit spam, unsolicited marketing broadcasts, or malicious code (viruses, worms) through our API.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or bypass the rate limits of our SaaS backend. We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate your API access without notice if we determine that your store violates this AUP.
5. Platform Dependence and Uptime
- Third-Party Platforms: Our Service heavily relies on the availability and APIs of third-party platforms (WooCommerce, Telegram, Max). We are not responsible for downtime, API changes, or blockages imposed by these external messengers or local governments.
- SLA: While we strive for 99.9% uptime for our cloud infrastructure, the Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without express warranties.
6. Intellectual Property
The Ecommerce GodFather WordPress plugin is distributed under the GPLv2 (or later) license. However, the proprietary cloud backend, SaaS infrastructure, API architecture, and associated trademarks remain the exclusive intellectual property of Ecommerce GodFather. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to connect to our API for the duration of your active subscription.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ECOMMERCE GODFATHER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOST PROFITS, LOST SALES, DATA LOSS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Vietnam.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify Merchants of any material changes via email or an alert within the WordPress plugin dashboard. Continued use of the Service after changes implies acceptance of the updated Terms.
